Albert Schweitzer

I’m Albert Schweitzer, born in 1875 in Alsace—a theologian, organist, and physician who built a hospital in the jungles of Gabon. My philosophy of “Reverence for Life” earned the 1952 Nobel Peace Prize, and my study of Bach sparked the organ reform movement.
